Quote of the Week: Be excited
If you haven't been paying attention to the EVE Community site, it's been counting down to something for a week now and in an hour from now (as I write this), the countdown will be over. There have of course been various theories across the player base (particularly on Twitter) about what the counter is counting down. Best theory?
@EVE_WOLFPACKED: i bet the timer will end and it will be all like "timer feature test complete, stay tuned for timers you should be excited about"Hee! Yeah, that's the quote of the week.
Anyway, by the time you're reading this, the countdown is probably down to zero and you can go see what it's about.
EDIT (5/Feb/2014): Trebor Daehdoow has an alternative theory. Drackarn over at Sand, Cider and Spaceships does a good job of listing a lot of the more popular theories as to what the counter is about on his blog.
EDIT (5/Feb/2014): And the actual cause for the countdown is now public, and I think it's pretty freakin' cool! Go out and have a look.
