Radial Menus - I Am Now Using Them (Plus Two Requests)
Since then, I've made an effort to use them. I figured the delay would be too much of an annoyance, so began by mapping the radial menu to my right mouse button. That actually turned out to be really annoying, because it meant that accessing right-click menus, when I needed them, was more difficult.
So I eventually resorted to mapping the radial menu to my left mouse button with a slight delay. The delay has not been annoying at all, contrary to what I originally assumed. I'm not using the radial menus all the time, but am using them far more often than I was before. I occasionally use the new menus for aligning, docking and jumping, though am still using the A and D hotkeys most of the time. I don't generally use the new menu for setting orbits (unless I need to set something other than my default orbit), but I will use it to set keep at ranges, usually when sitting at a bridging titan (i.e., keep at range 1750m).
The radial menu is not something that will ever become the defacto UI element that I use, there are quicker more convenient ways to get things done in most circumstances (hotkeys, for instance), but it has proved useful in some limited situations. It's a nice tool, occasionally helpful, but it does not feel like a necessary addition to the UI. It saves some time here and there, but if CCP had never invested the time developing it, I very much doubt I'd be feeling like something was missing from the UI.
The radial menus feel more like a marketing addition to me. Something that looks far more sci-fi and attractive for trailers, than the standard, dull right-click menu.

First request. Include a jump option for jump bridges and titans into the radial menu please. Right in the top spot, where the docking/jumping button sits for stations and stargates (and probably wormholes and acceleration gates.) The radial menu seems incomplete without these options. Why does bridging always get skipped by CCP? (Bridging doesn't respond to hotkeys either.) I'm at a loss to explain it.

My second request concerns the watchlist. Do CCP employees fly in fleets that rarely? It seems whenever there are UI updates to make, the watchlist window is generally forgotten (drag and drop is one instance where they didn't forget.) Why do the radial menus work from the overview, but not the watchlist? I use the watchlist a lot. Whenever I'm in space, 95% of the time I'm in a fleet, and lot of actions I perform are from the watchlist (orbits, keep at ranges) and broadcast windows (targeting, aligns, warping.)
Concerning the watchlist, I have another request. I'd like to be able to select a person from my watchlist and have them appear in my Selected Item window. Sometimes I want to see my range from a particular person on my watchlist, without having to lock them up or hunt and peck for them in the overview (especially when I might have 500 friendlies listed.) I would suggest either of the following: they are selected when I click on them, or add a right-click menu item called Select.
