The War in Fountain - What Are The Russians Doing For Us?
There's, no doubt, some sort of arrangement between the Russians and the CFC. What that is, I have no idea. At the very least, though, and especially while we're down in Fountain, you'd think they could be assed to help protect CFC assets up north, in exchange for Mittens and Co. giving them a home.
Gentleman's Agreeement lost two CSAAs last night to Black Legion. A CSAA is a Capital Ship Assembly Array. The POS module that is used to manufacture supercarriers and Titans. So, it's an expensive loss, as well as a big loss in time, depending how far along the capitals were in production.
While the majority of the CFC is down in Fountain, Test and Pals have been running guerrilla actions up north. Mainly Black Legion, but sometimes a mix of the Pals. It's not that we can't put up a defense of assets in the north, when required, it's just that it's a long and complicated op, with little chance of reinforcements.
And thus we found ourselves with an 08:00 strategic operation, having to move enough people from B-DBYQ up to Vale of the Silent. I was part of that op, at least for the first two hours. It was just too darned late (early?) for me to stay for the entirety. We had two fleets, about 400-450 in total. Black Legion had equal numbers, and more opportunity to reinforce their losses and numbers, since Venal is just a hop, skip and a jump away.
Not a Russian was stirring, even though they live right next door to the assets of Gentleman's Agreement.
Even with Russian help, we may have still lost the CSAAs, but with their help the odds would have been that much more in our favour. I'm just completely baffled why these dudes get to live in our space, yet get to continue living in their own little world.
If Black Legion had put two xXDEATHXx CSAAs into reinforcement, would we have have come to assist them? I'm certainly hoping we wouldn't have, not considering the help they give us. Of course, Black Legion knows better than to waste time on the Russians. xXDEATHXx can be flat out ignored.
Maybe somebody, somewhere can write an article explaining the CFC and Russian arrangement. I hope you're all familiar with old adages, because from where I'm sitting, if the CFC is the bull, then the Russians are the tits.
