For large groups who roll statics using orcas/capitals with ample subcap support, rolling becomes more time-consuming; capitals will need to warp to a tactical safespot and back, rather than manually reapproach the hole. An Orca with a MWD needs ~40 seconds to reapproach.
For smaller groups, rolling a static becomes exceptionally dangerous. If a static hole is connected to a hostile system, a rolling capital can be easily tackled off gate by a covops or Astero, and held until reinforcements arrived; small corps will need to wait until the connections drop naturally over time before risking ships to roll their static.
