The War in Fountain - Test Alliance Has a Bad Day

It has not been a good 36 hours for Test Alliance.

The CFC has had a couple of unfortunate incidents occur recently, such as the loss of two CSAAs and the fleets that went along with them. But, a bad day for Test Alliance would be nothing more than a minor annoyance to the CFC. The measuring sticks are different for each organization.

To start off, Test failed to anchor an iHub in J5A-IX, which lead to the CFC scooping it up. Which lead to the CFC finally taking the system. Although we already own a number of systems in Fountain (due to Pandemic Legion vacating their space), this is the system we needed to really begin staging from within Fountain. I would expect a new deployment within a couple to a few days.

There was the Fweddit allegiance to the CFC, which I covered earlier, which still has Reddit in a general uproar. DurrHurrDurr, being the gentleman he is, has no hard feelings, but he does have a diabolical plan:
I will pay 100m to anyone in TEST who uses a Fweddit alt to successfully awox CFC ratters. While you're at it, use your Fweddit character to bump CFC capitals out of POSes, spy on their fleet formups/numbers, waste their jump bridge fuel (6-plated MWD typhoons jumping back and forth through jump bridges are hilarious) and any other stupid shenanigans you can get up to. Just don't blueshoot Fweddit dudes themselves, most of them are still pretty cool.
Another Gentleman's Agreement CSAA was put into reinforced. The CFC answered the call with three fleets this morning, but no Black Legion or Northern Coalition showed up. It's actually been a relatively slow day for action. I've not seen many of the Pals, of Test & Pals, in or around our usual roaming routes. It's mainly just been Test Alliance and Tribal Band. What Pandemic Legion, Nulli Secunda, and Northern Coalition fleets we did see were quite small, of the harassing variety. If Test Alliance did indeed pay Pandemic Legion to protect Fountain, it wouldn't appear that it was not ISK well spent.

Word also has it that Test has put their ship replacement program on hold. I'll take this with a grain of salt for the time being, but if true this will likely affect the number of people who answer the call to ops. This would put a real strain on Test's ability to defend.

While in fleet just a couple hours ago, word came down that Test may have had one of its titans stolen. Apparently a dude was looking for a cyno out. It could have been a troll, or perhaps some sort of bait, but there were a couple of CFC dudes who were convinced it was legit at the time. I'm sure if it is true, the full story will leak tomorrow.

BoodaBooda (the CEO of Test Alliance) was flitting about J5A just a short while ago. He was in system for a good thirty minutes. Apparently looking for his missing iHub.

Russians have been seen in Fountain. Specifically of the Legion of xXDEATHXx variety. That's cool.

Overall, not much to report on the combat front. There has not been much in the way of big battles or contests over sovereignty. It would be a crying shame if it did happen, but I would not be surprised if Test decided to concede Fountain to the CFC, roll back into Delve.
