CCP, Once Again, Capitulates To Player Demands
It all came to a head on May 15 2013. The players once again shooting the monument in Jita. Another mass player protest. So many players participated, that Jita was in 10-20% TiDi for most of the day. Players struggled to get into Jita, either logging in or trying to jump into system. CCP saw fit to cap the system at 2500 characters.

It all began innocently enough. A question from a player at one of the Fanfest 2013 roundtables, asking a dev if CCP could move the undock button up near the station service buttons, for consistency's sake. The dev laughed, never answered the question, and carried on with the rest of the roundtable.
A few raised eyebrows quickly turned that non-response into a thread in EVE General Discussion on the EVE Online forums. It quickly grew into a threadnaught, peaking at 96 pages. Throughout the thread, CCP laughed off the suggestion, "It's just an undock button." Apparently not cognizant to massive player desire for more consistency in the user interface.
Rixx Javix and Seismic Stan, sensing an opportunity to organize yet another thing, started organizing the Dock the Undock campaign. Which culminated on May 15 2013, with the aforementioned protest.
With players rioting, CCP had to listen. And when it was finally revealed in late May (via a surprise patch on SiSi) that CCP was finally moving the undock button to be consistent with the rest of station services, the players rejoiced. "Activism does indeed get CCP's attention," one player wrote.
Here are some snippets from the undock button threadnaught:
