That post was simply Ripard Teg explaining about his first week as a CSM8 representative. Yet he packed more useful and revealing information into those thirteen hundred words than CSM7 did in an entire year of communication.
I'm very glad that I placed Ripard Teg second on my CSM8 ballots (behind Psychotic Monk), and I've little doubt his weekly CSM posts will continue to be revealing and insightful.
In one single post. CSM8 communication has already outstripped CSM7 communication in usefulness. With stalwarts such as Mynnna, Ripard Teg, Ali Aras and Malcanis, CSM8 is certainly looking to be the CSM we all wish we had the last twelve months.
I should also mention the Google Hangout that Ali Aras hosted last weekend. While loose and freeform, it was certainly a good first attempt at connecting with the community. As she gets a better handle on the format, I'm sure those Hangouts will only become more useful to her and the community that follows her representation.
