Think of the children
If you're easily offended, please move on to the next post. I'm going to be more than a little bit irreverent.
This just makes me laugh: Iceland wants to ban Internet porn
Or perhaps you prefer The Guardian's version.
Here's the money quotes, all from the Prime Minister of Iceland:
"But surely if we can send a man to the moon, we must be able to tackle porn on the Internet."
and another:
"This material is blurring the boundaries for young people about what is right and wrong."
and another:
"Research shows that the average age of children who see online porn is 11 in Iceland and we are concerned about that."
and another:
"We are a progressive, liberal society when it comes to nudity, to sexual relations."
Anyone finding their boundary of what is right and wrong being tested? ;-)
The Guardian had this to say: "Not all the experts agree with the idea that porn is bad." Yup. Including virtually every serious FC in EVE, ever. I assure you that porn fleets are a thing. Watching CCP try to ban that would be amusing in the extreme.
Iceland is weird.
